Woot woot! Just seven hours, fifty-three minutes, and twelve . . . eleven . . . ten seconds 'til I get these twice-bedamned casts off! Then it's double-time practicing to get my fingers movin' back up to snuff for the concert event of the season!

And I don't wanna hear anymore talk about "takin' it easy." I let you guys talk me into takin' a break 'til I healed, well now I'm healed an' it's time to get back to work!

[Next to the alley where Byakuya was torn apart. Ishida can be heard crying in the background. Shuro is shouting into her cell phone.]

Who did this!! I wanna know which one of you murdered him so I can pay you back for it!! I'm not gonna let you get away with it! Not again!

[Quieter, pulling the phone away to comfort Chibi.] Hey, it's okay, he'll be back. I'll fix it don'- [Phone clicks shut]

[Characters who listen to the song will be overcome with a feeling of confused melancholy]

Nice to be able to walk again! And I think I can officially cross "pony" off the list of possible things to be reincarnated as, so at least I got something out of it.

Hey, Meiko-san, how's that concert coming along?

[Voice is still pretty hoarse.]

Guess I can't really make this that long, gotta rest my voice if it's ever gonna come back right. But I figured I should thank everyone that, y'know, helped me not die yesterday. I appreciate it.

WE INTERRUPT YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED CRACKFEST FOR A MAULING.

On Friday, April 3, late afternoon/early evening-ish, one Tsukasa Shuro was dumped outside in front of the hotel by a ninja!Larxene (who you may have heard cackling if you arrived early enough but otherwise disappeared into the ether).

SHE IS ALIVE. But badly cut up, a little fried, as well as a couple of ribs, her left hand, and right arm broken.

IF SOMEONE WOULD LIKE TO FIND HER AND NOT LET HER BLEED TO DEATH AND MAYBE PATCH HER UP A LITTLE that would be appreciated. |D

Hey, we haven't had a karaoke party in a while, have we? Anyone got any plans for Friday?

Shuro will be tracking each person down over the course of Christmas day to give them their presents in person.

In the meantime, I'm starting to go through my Christmas list and figured I'd ask if anyone has any special requests. ~.^

Hey guys, so we got a lot of talent in since the last concert and it sounds like people are interested in another. So if anyone's interested in playing or singing in it we're gonna be jamming in the common room in about an hour.

Don't worry if you only play some weirdo instrument no one's ever heard of either, we'll work you in no problem.

Bring food!

Oh and Kazu-kun, you're required to show up.

[Sounds of shuffling about, an acoustic guitar being moved around and a synthesizer being turned on and tested. Shuro's voice comes up getting louder and softer as if she's moving further and closer to the mic.]

Sorry about that last post. Thought I'd make up for it, though.

[A little more shuffling around and cue a beat from the synthesizer before the acoustic guitar starts up. With a Little Help From My Friends, originally by The Beatles. This performance goes much more smoothly.

Any characters who listened to the song would, in contrast to her last post, feel much more light-hearted and that everything's going to be okay.]

[Sounds of a crowd cheering, only far away, then what is obviously Shuro's voice comes on.]

[Thank you! This next song . . . is kinda special. And I hope that it'll touch someone out there in the audience as much as it touched me.]

[Some of the older residents might recognize it at this point as a clip from the very first Grate Your Cheese concert back in February.

Some more rustling and the sound of an acoustic guitar being picked up and the song starts, Sometimes You Can't Make it on Your Own. You can hear Sonic the Hedgehog and Jet the Hawk singing backup from the DVD and Shuro singing over the recording live.

She almost doesn't make it through the bridge and her voice finally gives way to the lump in her throat at the end, letting the DVD finish the song and the following cheers are cut short before the mic is turned off.

Any characters that listened to the song will have felt the pain and loneliness of losing someone they loved and the desire to just be happy for them acutely as if it were their own.]

[Sound of a dog whimpering as if he's scampering back and forth. This goes on for a good few seconds.]

What?

[More whimpering.]

I already fed you.

[Rustling like someone rolling over on a couch. More whimpering, turning into soft growling and the distinct sound of ripping cloth.]

JF, what's your problem?! I already fed and walked you, just leave me the hell alone already!

[Whimpering, skittering, and barking.]

God, would you just shut up?!

[More barking, joined by meowing and scratching.]

Fine. You guys wanna go in there? [Sound of a door opening] See if I ca- . . .

Snow? How did you guys- . . .

[Mattress creaking, window opening, and someone crying softly.]
